Clara Corbett playing Puck, of Shakespeare fame.   She’s female, dressed in top hat, all-in-one white waistcoat and bow tie, dancer’s high-waisted trousers and tattooed ‘nude’ suit. Imagine the Emcee in Cabaret crossed with Marlene Dietrich and Jane Horrocks and you have Clare Corbett’s sprightly sprite… I have a special weakness for female Pucks, and I love the flamboyant costuming on this one. This is everything I long to be.
